Level 17
On this level you have pretty many ways to continue but... at least according to what we have tried only one works.
First let's take a peek on the left way. You'll find this image and a panel that asks you for a five lettered code. We haven' t tried this way yet but... promise we will...
The other option is to look up in which clearly you'll see there's nothing useful, neither an exit.
The way to the right, takes you through a walkway that seems to end in nowhere
but you see a panel with a clue, something like this: Yes you'll get the answer from here but... how?. Well pretty easy, the code you get has two numbers aside from each word, the left number tells you how many letters of the word are part of the word you need to name the html file. The number on the right tells you how many of the correct letters are in the correct position according to the html word.
Well... now, you have to find common letters in the words that have the highest number of correct letters. We recommend you start with:
BLISS
FLINT
STONE
STEAM
CARDS
Because this words have the highest numbers of correct letters, all you have to do now is find common letters and discard the ones you don't need. this way:
BLISS & FLINT = L & I
STONE & STEAM = S & E
At this point you have four of the five letters and you are missing one word CARDS well, take that word discard letters you don't need, search for common letters and you'll find the letter you are missing
CARDS = D & S
So at the end you have:
L I S E D
Just arrange them in a word and you'll get the answer:
SLIDE!!
easy?
Now when you look down on the road straight ahead you'll see something magnified write it, you'll need it for the next levels. trust us

DeleteI got the answer for crossleft, the one with the panel asking for a 5-lettered code.
ReplyDeleteOne thing that threw me for a loop was "avaits" instead of "awaits". This is a typo on the author's part.
For the sake clarity, I Googled "helter skelter" thinking I would end up with "chaos" or "metal". Nope. Turns out that it's a kind of amusement park ride!
:D
Yup, the code = "slide".
do you enter the 5 letter word into the url?
